Reading about the apparent suicides of the people suspected of organising the bombs in Madrid. There's a quote from a nearby resident in Madrid who said 'This is a very quiet neighbourhood... But it's places like this where these people try to hide'.

It's just one quote from one person, yet I wonder how a new type of civil or religious-racism war can be averted, both there, and one day, here. Organisations such as the BNP in the UK have been very (strategically?) quiet about the bombs in Madrid, as well as the recent discovery of large amounts of ammonium nitrate for alleged bomb-making purposes in this country. What will it take? When there's a bomb in this country, will their group and others like them be there to give aid, or to hand out flyers to sign up new recruits?
